My name is Juliet
Miles Lea, I have an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Counselling (2004) and I am
on the Accredited Register of the British Association for Counselling and
person-centred counselling tailored to individual needs, working from my
beautiful, purpose-built practice room in the garden of my home in a tranquil,
rural setting just outside Hollingbourne, where I also practice walking
therapy. I also counsel in a local school and have considerable experience with
adolescents in the 11 - 18 age range. I have an Enhanced CRB check.
I am a qualified
supervisor (having trained with Cascade Associates in 2014) and I work with
individual counsellors (including student counsellors) and I run a Creative
Supervision Group which complements individual supervision.
counselling to adults at West Kent College, Tonbridge for 9 years, means that I
am well placed to offer counselling support to students in training.
Coming to counselling is a decision people make
for all sorts of reasons and at many different points in their lives. I hope
that I can help with whatever is troubling you and that you will find new
perspectives and resources you may not have known you had.
Issues I am used to helping with include:
• addictions (including eating
disorders and self harm)
• anger issues
• anxiety and phobias
• bereavement and loss (grief)
• family conflict
• personal development
• relationship issues
• self esteem
• sexuality issues
Rates are £40 a session.
